A Winter Anniversary Shoot...

When Ria and Curt asked me to take some photographs to celebrate their ten year anniversary I couldn't have been more happy to oblige. Autumn was a distant memory, hardly a leaf left on the trees but as I was taking the first few pictures I saw silhouetted in the distance this bench and, next to it, a perfectly Victorian lantern and I knew I had my photo.

Commercial Kitten Shoot...

This was possibly the best job ever! I think there were nine or ten Bengal kittens that needed to be photographed and they were everywhere - behind my backdrop, under my backdrop, climbing up my arm and I found three asleep in my lighting bag. So cute - and if I could have taken one I would have....

Noah's Family Photo Session...

This is gorgeous 20 month-old Noah and his parents. He was so camera shy at first but once we'd had a little chat about our shared love of Thomas the Tank Engine he came right out of his shell and there was no stopping him. A proper little poser he turned out to be! Loved this session xx

A Special Family Shoot...

This was a bit of a special family shoot as it was bought as a Christmas present a while ago by my sister Alex and brother-in-law, Shaw, for Pete and Pauline (Shaw's grandparents). Unfortunately Pauline never got to be on the photographs but I'm sure she would have loved this one of Pete with their whole family. That's my sister on the left and that's my nephew, Edward, stroking Bryn the dog. Right is Shaw's sister Faye with her gorgeous new baby, 'baby Miles'.

The Simple Things in Life...

These are a few of my favourite pictures from a recent family photo session in Liverpool (11 adults and 8 children to be exact). These two brothers completely forgot the camera was there as soon as they saw the bubbles and their expressions are just lovely!

Maya's Family Photo Session...

A perfect family photo shoot from the summer. The chosen location was Calderstones Park in Liverpool which is full of little spots perfect for photographs. This wasn't the first time I had photographed Maya - I first photographed her at 6 months old at her home - but this was the first full family shoot and we had such a lovely afternoon running around.
