Yes, it's that time of year again! Where has the past year gone, it doesn't seem a more than a couple of months since I changed out of my wellies and into shoes for walking the dog, but they're back on. Children's Photography in Warrington...

A few weeks ago I photographed six year-old Rishi and his brother Kush, ten months, in Warrington. Driving along the M62 to the house I hit really thick fog, which was quite un-expected since BBC weather had predicted glorious sunshine in Warrington, and I had just left glorious sunshine in Liverpool! I'm all for a bit of haze when taking pictures but I realised this may be taking it a step too far.   Anyway, as luck would have it, it had cleared within half an hour and having taken some pictures in the boys bedroom, we headed off to Walton Hall Park and Gardens where the sun came out (a little too much for my liking but then I'm never satisfied). Yes, BBC weather, you were right (eventually), so I'll let you off this time!

Free as a Bird...

This is two year-old Oskar and, if you scroll down, you will meet his baby sister Mia, three months, for this was a session of two halves - half park, half home! I just love these lovely smiley pictures and although there are plenty more, they are just a select few of my favourites. 

Children's Photography in Cheshire...

This was Lily and Sam's second children's portrait session with me - I first photographed them two years ago when Lily was two and Sam was six - but this time there was a new addition in the form of gorgeous baby brother Ben, who had two photographs taken and promptly fell asleep! We hired the beautiful gardens at Trafford Hall in Mickle Trafford for the shoot and I could not have asked for a better location - good choice Kath xx.

Introducing Cameron...

This beautiful baby boy is Cameron who I photographed a few weeks ago in Southport - just look at those amazing eyes. I do love being a baby photographer! Incidentally his cousins are Emily and Josh, also from Southport, who feature in an earlier blog post. Cameron's favourite story at the moment is 'The Tale of Two Bad Mice' so of course it seemed fitting to photograph him with his book.

Last days in Liverpool...

When Darren contacted me to say that he'd like me to photograph his family in the garden before they all headed back to Singapore, following a year in Liverpool, I thought it sounded like a shoot which I would love. It was a double birthday celebration also and despite a weather forecast predicting rain, it turned out to be a glorious day. I turned up armed with props and we had great fun all afternoon getting some lovely creative shots. I've been so lucky this year with the weather! I hope you all have a safe trip home next week. xx
