Family Photography in Cheshire

A colourful family photo session in Cheshire to start off the new year. I photographed three generations of one lovely family while gran was visiting for Christmas...all the way from South Africa. By a stroke of luck we picked the one day when it wasn't raining or blowing a force 10 gale, although it was absolutely freezing shall we say! Poor gran wasn't wearing any socks in her wellies, but she kept on smiling as the pictures show! 

Family Photography in Liverpool

An autumnal feel for this family portrait session in Calderstones Park in Liverpool. The boys were under strict instructions from their dad to keep the session a secret from mum as the pictures were to be a present. However, this wasn't to be and, by all accounts, she found out within five minutes of the session ending!

Festive Furry Face of the Echo...

This angelic puppy face is deceiving...this puppy, my puppy, is the naughtiest puppy I have ever known as well as the greediest (although as I write this she is curled up innocently asleep on my lap). Trying to get her to pose for this picture took an entire hour, not only because her hat wouldn't stay on but because she won't stay still for a second. In the end, a little chicken paste on the back of the chair was all it took and then, for a magical ten seconds, she just stood and stared and her hat stayed in place.... and I breathed a sigh of relief. You'll see her face in the Liverpool Echo as well as the Chester Chronicle and Daily Post Wales promoting the Christmas Pets Competition. Never again!!

Family Birthday Party Photography in Huddersfield....

A few weeks ago I went to photograph the first birthday party of Yahya in Huddersfield. All the family had to dress in blue, white, silver or cream and even the marquee was decorated according to the theme. I was really impressed by Magic Philip the magician who was the special guest - he managed to keep everybody transfixed for a good hour, especially the kids! Great party - oh, and it was also bonfire night too but I might need a 'part 2' for those pictures! Lovely party, lovely family, thanks for asking me to take your pictures x.
