Post-Christening Portrait Shoot in Gatley, Manchester

Just a sneak preview of a post-christening portrait shoot I did at the weekend for Kerri and Dan and their gorgeous daughter Isla. We only had 10 minutes in the church to get the pictures we wanted so it was all a bit of a rush although there were plenty more lovely shots taken outside afterwards. They look good in colour but just as nice in black and white.

School Brochure Shoot at Great Crosby School, Liverpool

Thank you to Great Crosby School in Crosby, Liverpool for allowing me to use a few pictures from a recent shoot at the school. It was a really enjoyable morning and the kids loved having their pictures taken! 

The Sun (almost) Always Shines at Liverpool ONE...

It's true, the sun always does shine at Liverpool ONE, except when it's raining and, to be fair, it's been doing that a lot recently. So in order to promote Liverpool ONES's beach in Chavasse Park, ahead of the predicted rainy August Bank Holiday weekend, I went down to take photographs of Lauren and Louise having fun in the rain at the beach, and it really was good fun. So, if you are going to get wet while out shopping, you might as well go down to the beach and get wetter, the kids'll love it!

A Special Birthday Gift

I was honoured to be asked to capture these lovely cousins as a present for their grandma's birthday. We spent a fun morning at Calderstone's Park in Liverpool seeking out all the hidden nooks and crannies, running, climbing, jumping and all topped off with a cup of hot chocolate from the cafe! 

Baby Photography in Liverpool

When I turned up to photograph one-year-old baby Isla and her six-week-old baby brother Dylan, Isla was sitting on the couch, ready and waiting. She had that look like somehow she just knew that she was going to be the centre of attention for the next couple of hours! Big brother and sister Abbie and Finn were a big help and we got some lovely pictures of them all together but my particular favourite has to be the picture below of the two babies, which also happened to be mum and dad's favourite too! 

Carleton House School Magazine

For anybody who is new to VJT Photography, you might not know that not only am I a children's photographer but I'm also an editorial photographer so when the two come together, it's the perfect combination! I went down to Carleton House Preparatory School in Liverpool at the start of June to spend the day taking pictures for their school magazine and had a lovely day visiting all the different classes. In the afternoon the lower year classes took it in turns to have lessons with dance teacher Alison Caldwell, where I took some of my favourite pictures of the day! Thank you to the parents, the school and John Beese for allowing some of the pictures to appear on my blog (I'm so pleased as I just love them!!).
