VJT Photography Finalist in Professional Photographer of the Year Awards 2012...

I was really excited to find out last week that I'd been shortlisted in the Professional Photographer of the Year 2012 Awards in the category which I entered, which was the Portfolio of three category. I almost didn't find out as the confirmation email went straight to my spam and was nearly deleted! The three pictures had to be from the same session so I entered the three below from a children's session I did a couple of years ago. I'm so happy to have been picked especially as one of the judges was Kate Hopewell-Smith whose pictures of children are just beautiful! Liverpool Actress takes on Ninja Role!...

I love my job because I get to meet such interesting people and the other week I met Jackie Jones of Childwall, Liverpool. When Jackie was recently made redundant from her job in the police force it gave her the opportunity to follow her dream of being an actress. Now three months after finishing her training she's landed a role in a feature film with a Hollywood co-producer and gets to work with a wrestler by the name of Slasher!
