Strawberry Fields Forever....

I was amazed to discover this year that not only did Strawberry Fields actually exist, it was also just down the road from my house. How could I have lived in Liverpool for so many years and not have known this, especially being such a big Beatles fan? I made it my mission today to go any photograph the gates in the snow.  In retrospect I would have used a longer lens to throw out the background but, forseeing potential slipping hazards, I minimized the lenses I took with me. Just love that red gate though!

Doggy Fun in the Snow...

They weren't kidding when they said the snow was deep in Northumbria this year. It was at least the height of my wellies and at times deeper! I had been commissioned to take some pictures of three Springer Spaniels and a Jack Russell in the frost - little did anyone expect three foot of snow! Louis, Bunty, Molly and Scout had the time of their lives diving in and out of the snow, catching snowballs and running around and believe me, after two hours of taking pictures in the snow, a cosy pub lunch in front of a roaring fire was in order!

The Year in Pictures....

I know it's only December 1st but here is a collage of a few of my favourite pictures from my first full year in business! You may recognise a few of the pictures from former news posts! Plenty more can be viewed in my portrait gallery.
